Prof. Yağcı started his academic career and received his PhD from University of Liverpool. He has over 600 articles published in peer-reviewed journals, 18,500 citations and has 10 patents since 1980. Well recognized for his international studies on polymer chemistry, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Yağcı held several administrative roles for many national and international organizations, is currently a member of many national and international organizations and has won numerous awards. Recently Prof. Dr. Yusuf Yağcı, has been awarded with Belgium Polymer Group Award, which has been granted to only 10 scientists from different countries, carries out his studies at Istanbul Technical University, Chemistry Department.
